SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER

Widad Center in Dubai is hiring for a dynamic role of Special Education and Lead teacher in an alternative educational environment. This role has been created for a go-getter personality with the ability to think on their feet. The candidate must be able to supply a functional curriculum for children with varying abilities that target not only academics but also functional skill sets to help take their learning to the next level.

Role & Responsibilities:

• To plan & deliver lesson & interventions to children with various needs specifically for children on the spectrum and children with learning disabilities.

• To communicate appropriately and professionally with children, parents & other professionals.

• To create IEP’s alongside the team that reflect the area of need and the goals that will be targeted

• To review and revise the IEP’s and lessons to fit the unique learning of the students

• Lead by example

• Arrange teacher meetings and overall observations of the other classes to ensure the centers philosophy is carried out effectively

Requirements and desired skills:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in one of more of the following: Education, Special Education, or Psychology.

• Have a minimum of 3 years working in the field of Special Educational.

• Have a teaching qualification (Required)

• Native English Speaker.

• Be competent in writing assessment and progress reports.

• Created approach to teaching and learning.

• Valid attested Degrees, and High School Diploma
